This clock is refined and artsy at the same time. The original art work on this one-of-a kind clock was created by the artist using a paint brush and acid resistant paint. The painting is done directly onto the metal. When the paint dries the metal is submerged into a bath of acid. The acid eats into the metal until the painting is left in high relief. The paint is removed before the metal finishing is started. The metal is now treated like a piece of art and it is finished using steel wool, files and buffing.
