JRA Carson Table Clock- 16"H x 5"W x 4.5"D, Acid Etched Aluminum Art and Curly Maple
This one-of-a Kind Table Clock features ferns and dragonflies in the nature inspired artwork created by the artist. Each scene is hand painted onto the aluminum metal with acid resistant paint. The painted metal is submerged in acid until the artwork remains in high relief. The paint is removed and the metal is hand finished with saws, files and buffing. The metal art carries the numerals 12, 3 and 6. The curly maple has inlayed dots which designate the numbers 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. The curly maple wood has a hand rubbed oil finish. The wood and the metal require no maintenance! The clock runs on a reliable Seiko quartz clockworks which runs on one AA battery. Battery is included.
