This painting is acrylic on canvas. Areas of paint are heavy impasto which creates a richly textured surface. My paintings reflect my region of the country. From my home to the Ohio River is less than 4 miles. When I was a child I dreamed of being able to fly. My paintings are a reflection of those childhood dreams. This painting is an abstract of rivers, the towns build around the rivers and landscapes. The custom frame was designed to compliment the painting with additional elevations.
